Two museums 两间博物馆
Guangxi Zhuang Minority Autonomous Region Museum 广西壮族自治区博物馆 in Nanning has an extraordinary collection of Han-period (202 BCE-220 CE) local-style bronzes, notably an exquisite bronze drum. The reproduction cave-paintings are from nearby Huashan 花山, dating to the Warring States (c. 475-221 BCE) and Han periods.
M+ in West Kowloon 西九龍 Hong Kong houses the Sigg collection, a vast array of the best of Chinese modern art. Artists shown here are Liu Ye 劉野, Yue Minjun 岳敏君, Qi Zhilong 祁志龍, Chen Wei 陳維 and Zhao Bandi 趙半狄. There are also international exhibitions of modern art, currently Dream Rooms.
